Located in the Osaki area of Shinagawa, Lab 8 is a tranquil retreat away from the bustling tourist crowds of Ginza. Here, you can chill in a real neighborhood, where summer days invite you to roll up the gate and greet passing neighbors as they walk their dogs. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine while soaking in the local vibe.
The interiors of Lab 8 were hand-crafted by one of my best friends in Tokyo, a fellow creative soul. Together, we designed a space that is crafty, mismatched, modular, and open—encouraging sharing and interaction. With a DJ booth for spinning records and hosting events, Lab 8 is a versatile venue for creativity. By far, the experience I’ve had on this Airbnb with Li is the wonderful Airbnb experience I’ve had.
The place was amazing, the room itself was an attraction and the host brought many books regarding my tastes.The best thing was Li, it made me feel like I was visiting an old friend, I had very nice conversations with her, she recommended many places to discover and she told me a lot about the culture of Japan and Tokyo. It brought me a lot of local sweets and from Taiwan. When I was there, I shared the room with another girl, and one night we went out to have fun at night with the host, it was a really fun night. When I leave at 5am at the airport, Li escort me to the station and help me carry my bags. It’s like arriving at your best friend’s place.
I highly recommend, I would go to japon just to stay again!!
